Not having access to the marketplace Artisans from local communities are deprived form a basic source of income and are forced to live substandard in spite of possessing skills.

Pakistan is such a country where the national poverty ratio, which was 31.3% in June 2018, had jumped to over 40% by June 2020 this percentage does include such families who have skilled full peoples deprived of opportunities and are forced to live below the line.

My idea is about creating an online selling platform where artwork and other stuff made by the people in the marginalized communities of Pakistan would be procured and sold at a profit and a major portion of the profit to be shared with them to support sustainability and provide encouragement regarding artwork and enhanced use of skills.

A sample of the local artwork

Handicrafts of Pakistan are very well recognized because of the wonderful visuals and excellent textures. Some of these products include Carpets, Earthen Pots, Tiles, Khussa, Woodcarvings, etc.

Mesmerizing art Work

Pandemic, Present Scenario and Challenges:

The pandemic situation has led to several challenges to the idea as the travel restrictions and economic crises remain. This idea requires a great deal of travelling in order to reach such individuals who have artwork skills and are encouraged to avail the opportunity. Following that the goods have to be procured from them or to be made available at the online market plat from. On the other hand, the overall economic conditions remain uncertain which leaves a question mark on the success of this idea.
